This collection consists of the proceedings and transcriptions from the Association's conventions for the years 1932-1935, 1938-1942, 1944, 1955, and 1967-1968. Deals with the public position of the Association concerning various legislative proposals on both state and local levels. Also contains discussion and recommendations concerning the refinancing procedures for mortgages, farm loans, business loans, and how banks should invest funds.

The Michigan Bankers Association was established on Oct. 26, 1887. It's first officers were Perry Hannah (President, Traverse City), Albert Ives (1st Vice President, Detroit), Wellington R. Burt (2nd Vice President, Saginaw), F.W. Hayes (Treasurer, Detroit), and Silas B. Coleman (Treasurer, Detroit).
